Burwood Road

As a key part of the route, you will encounter a mix of traffic and plenty of pedestrian activity. As you head down Burwood Road, also expect parked cars, buses pulling in and out, and frequent traffic lights. You’ll be making a right turn onto Wilga Street, so stay alert, use your mirrors, and be ready to turn confidently.

Hume Highway

This is one of the busiest stretches on this route, making it the perfect place to demonstrate confident lane discipline and merging. You’ll be turning right onto The Boulevarde, so plan your turn in advance, signal early, and position yourself correctly. Be aware of the changing speed limits on different sections of the highway.

The Boulevarde

Taking you through a quieter area, you’ll still need to be mindful of traffic coming in and out of side streets. The Boulevarde is a great opportunity to demonstrate smooth cornering skills and controlled speed. Shortly after, you’ll make a right turn onto Morwick Street, so start slowing down in advance.

Victoria Street

The final leg before you return to the Burwood Service Centre should be straightforward. It’s a good opportunity to check your positioning and demonstrate smooth, controlled driving. As you take the right onto Elsie Street, be careful around parked cars and any last-minute hazards before completing your test route.
