Poinciana Avenue

One of the first major roads you'll encounter after leaving the Service Centre, it's a bustling area with local shops and pedestrians, so maintaining your speed and checking for crossing pedestrians will feature heavily. You’ll soon reach a roundabout where you'll need to take the third exit onto Moorindil Street, so check your mirrors and indicate well in advance.

Moorindil Street

After navigating two roundabouts, you'll find yourself on Moorindil Street, which is a quieter road offering a chance to demonstrate controlled steering and lane discipline. As you take the first exit onto George Street, be aware of driveways in use, and parked cars that could limit visibility. The upcoming left onto Werin Street is a good opportunity to practise braking smoothly as you prepare to turn.

Cooroy Noosa Road

This is a significant part of the route where you’ll encounter varying speed limits. The road itself can feel quite open, but it's important to stick to the speed limit and to be mindful of other vehicles merging. You’ll need to continue for a short while before taking the first exit at the roundabout onto St Andrews Drive.

Hilton Terrace

Here the road becomes more built-up, with increased local traffic and usually more congestion. Watch out for vehicles using driveways, and be ready to change lane safely if necessary. You'll soon reach Doonella Street, which curves back to become Sidoni Street, leading you right back to the Service Centre. Stay composed, check your mirrors frequently, and finish your drive with confidence.
