You’ll initially travel north on Old Princes Hwy (known locally as Orient St). This busy thoroughfare runs through the heart of the town, so keep an eye out for local shops and pedestrian crossings - plus, remember that you’ll eventually loop back here later in the route.
A scenic coastal road that offers great views. As you drive along, you’ll navigate through a couple of roundabouts (one where you’ll take the 2nd exit and later another to keep going south), so make sure to prepare, signal early and check your surroundings carefully.
After a series of turns on Beach Rd, you’ll encounter a roundabout where you take the 3rd exit onto George Bass Dr. This road gives you a chance to experience a longer, more continuous stretch of driving - perfect for practicing your lane discipline and mirror-checks.
The route takes you onto Glenella Rd after a brief stint on smaller local roads. Stretching over 2 km, this road eases you toward the major Princes Hwy / A1, offering an opportunity to focus on merging and adapting to changes in traffic flow.
